Kahr Firearms Group jumps on the tech bandwagon with a new mobile app that opens up a wealth of information on the gun maker’s collection.

The new app, appropriately named Kahr Firearms Group App, converts mountains of paper catalogues and owners manuals into one singular means of access for Kahr fans.

The interface includes product catalogs as well as owner’s manuals. The digital versions provide detailed parts lists, technical data and specs, diagrams and operating instructions. The app even has take-down and assembly instructions for those that get a little lost during the cleaning and lubrication process.

The app gives users a choice of either streaming content or downloading to their device for more permanent access.

Kahr said in a press release on Wednesday the new venture is all about providing expedient information to shooters.

“Convenience is the newest product from Kahr Firearms Group,” the company said. “This new app is not only convenient, but is also packed full of useful information about KFG products.”

Kahr Firearms Group oversees Kahr Arms, Thompson, Auto-Ordnance and Magnum Research. The aggregation manufacturers a slew of firearms to include the famed Desert Eagle and the mobster’s choice of weapon — the Tommy Gun.

Kahr fans, or shooters interested in previewing the company’s 2017 wares, can download the app for free from the iTunes store and Google Play.
