President-elect Donald Trump has slammed the CIA, following reports the under pressure intelligence agency had concluded that Russia intervened in the election to help him win.

Donald Trump spoke at his first press conference in six months with nine days left before his inauguration.

Trump addressed claims made in the unconfirmed report released by Buzzfeed on Tuesday evening which stated Russian hackers have information which may be used to blackmail the incoming 45th president.

CNN had also published the information in the report because the CIA called it “credible,” though it is important to note that they did not call it “true.”

“These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction,” the transition said in a terse, unsigned statement.

“The election ended a long time ago in one of the biggest Electoral College victories in history. It’s now time to move on and ‘Make America Great Again.’”

The misleading release by the news giants was swiftly condemned by journalists and other news outlets, even those who publicly oppose the president-elect.

  • All news should be as accurate as possible.

If not accurate it should state that it might not be correct. Perhaps even a TRUTH FACTOR or a symbol of integrity.

Like one symbol for references confirmed, confirmed by 2 or more parties, copied, no original work done and so forth.

We have ratings for our movies, ratings for classes of hurricanes, classifications for tornadoes.

How about a classification of news articles?
