Outgoing Democratic National Committee interim chairwoman Donna Brazile, noting that Hillary Clinton still got “about three million more votes than the other guy,” told a group of assembled Democrat supporters recently that she couldn’t sugar-coat the failure that was the 2016 election.
“We came up short. We made some serious mistakes, some strategic errors. We got cocky about our invincible blue wall and then we saw it crumble… We failed under extraordinary circumstances,” she said.
