Stag Arms has partnered with Hera USA to outfit the Connecticut gun maker’s rifles with the Featureless CQR buttstock — a California compliant stock for ARs.

The Featureless Rifle comes in four basic packages — the 1, 2, 2T, 3 and 3T models. These long guns are available in right handed or left handed configuration with an ambidextrous safety. The rifles utilize a 16 inch target crowned, 4140 steel barrel with 1/9 twist.

Though the guns share some components, there are differences among the Featureless variants.

Models 1F and 1FL come with a M4 thermoplastic handguard with double heat shields, removable A3 carry handle with integrated sight and a F-Marked A2 front sight. Models 2F and 2FL also feature a M4 hand guard and A2 front sight, but use a a Midwest Industries flip-up rear sight.

Models 2TF and 2TFL break the mold offering a Samson Star-C free floating hand guard with 4 Picatinny rails. The addition of rails gives shooters more space and ability to mount accessories and customize their experience. Rounding out the series are a Diamondhead classic aluminum flip-up rear sight and F-Marked A2 front sight.

Models 3F and 3FL utilize a Diamondhead VRS drop-in modular hand guard and a Picatinny railed gas block. Building onto the 3 series, the 3TF and 3TFL serve up a 13.5 inch free float Diamondhead VRS-T handguard with polymer Diamondhead low-profile front sights and rear flip-up sights.

While the Featureless Rifles range in price from $985 to $1,325, shooters can snag just a Featureless CQR buttstock for $124.99 or a lower half for $415. According to Stag’s website, lead times average six to eight weeks.
