http://reset.me/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/tabernanthe_iboga_ms_4045_2198_b24ba0.jpg - Ibogaine works wonders with opioid addiction, but you have to go to another country to get access to it.

State legislators, medical marijuana patients, doctors and adult cannabis consumers have been stymied in many ways by the federal listing of cannabis as a schedule 1 controlled substance. However, cannabis is not unique in that regard.

For example, another powerful medicine plant, the iboga shrub, is likewise banned from medical use. What makes iboga a special case is that its major medical value has been as an effective treatment for addiction to alcohol and hard drugs.

Once again, the Drug War that is supposed to prevent addiction is used instead to withhold treatment from those who most need it.

  • You could ask the same about why hemp, marijuana (you know, before some GMO types tried to hijack it) and kratom.

They think money can save them or buy time. That’d be quite the mistake.

    • Shit sorry, I’m inebriated.

You could ask the same about why hemp, marijuana (you know, before some GMO types tried to hijack it) , coca (even though coca cola STILL has an exclusive import right) and kratom.

The Drug Enforcement Agency, making sure you get your drugs from “approved” sources.

  • It doesn’t work. If you think 2 out of 100 is success then it works. I was involved with a cutting edge medical group over 20 years ago that was treating patients in St Kitts. After I had left they were thrown off the Island due to a death of a patient undergoing treatment. We monitored everything from heart rate to urine output of 12 patients. The results were the same with all groups treated. This was done under the guidance of a well known Doctor from the University of Miami as well as a G P from Miami and a staff of 3 drug treatment specialists. Strict follow up indicated that within 1 year all but 2 relapsed. This is about the same as any detox.
