A Judge Said Trump Committed The Most Revolutionary Act He’s Ever Seen

(Before It's News)

Donald Trump has shaken up Washington.
Just how much has Trump changed things since assuming the Presidency?
One Judge says Trump has committed the most revolutionary act he’s ever seen.
On his first day in office, Trump signed an executive order easing Obamacare regulations.
Section 2 of his order stated:

“To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Secretary of Health and Human Services (Secretary) and the heads of all other executive departments and agencies (agencies) with authorities and responsibilities under the Act shall exercise all authority and discretion available to them to waive, defer, grant exemptions from, or delay the implementation of any provision or requirement of the Act that would impose a fiscal burden on any State or a cost, fee, tax, penalty, or regulatory burden on individuals, families, healthcare providers, health insurers, patients, recipients of healthcare services, purchasers of health insurance, or makers of medical devices, products, or medications.”

Obamacare’s individual mandate requires Americans to purchase health insurance or else pay a penalty.
The penalty is $695, or two percent of income, whichever is greater.
But Trump’s executive order now instructs all relevant agencies to use their own discretion and not enforce the mandate penalty against individuals.
Fox News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano described this act as “revolutionary”.
He wrote:

“Then he ordered a truly revolutionary act, the likes of which I have never seen in the 45 years I have studied and monitored the government’s laws and its administration of them. He ordered that when bureaucrats who are administering and enforcing the law have discretion with respect to the time, place, manner and severity of its enforcement, they should exercise that discretion in favor of individuals and against the government.
This is radical coming from any president in the modern era of government-can-do-no-wrong. It is far more Thomas Jefferson, the small-government champion with whom Trump has never been associated, than it is Theodore Roosevelt, the super-regulator whom Trump has stated he admires. It recognizes the primacy and dignity of the individual and the fallibility of the state. It acknowledges the likely demise of ObamaCare. It is utterly without precedent since Jefferson’s presidency.
Trump’s revolutionary act is a breeze of freedom on a sea of regulation. It recognizes something modern governments never admit — that they can be and have been wrong. It is exactly as Trump promised.”

Under most Presidents, government seeks to assert its dominance over the individual.
That was certainly the case under Barack Obama.
Disregard for individual liberty was how draconian measures like the individual mandate were put into place.
But Trump appears to be on a course to reverse Obama’s disastrous legacy.
And in wiping away Obama’s failed policies, Trump is also reorienting the federal government to favor individuals over the state.

  • Mother of mine can you see this from where you are? This is what are the influences of a man led by the Almighty does, to minimize government injury to American citizens. Is this not why law breaking illegal aliens want in to this country? No! They wanted Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton to give them what they are NOT entitled to, other peoples property and money through ungodly taxes. Now Quote the Ten Commandments.
