The Sheriff’s Office received reports just after 10 a.m. Monday of a man being shot in the area of Amador Court and Rancho Tehama Reserve Road.
Deputies responded to the entrance of Black Ranch where the owner of the residence reported a dead man was in his driveway.
While at the first scene, deputies received an additional call at 10:30 a.m. from a Corning gas station on Highway 99W, of a man with a gunshot wound who entered the station and fell on the floor. The man later succumbed to his injuries and died before making it to the hospital.
