Cameraman gets crazy, close-up shot of armed suspect during chase (VIDEO)

During an hour-long high-speed chase through the Los Angeles area, one local cameraman decided to get an up-close shot of the fleeing suspect – who was believed to be armed with a gun – as he briefly stopped at an intersection.
The move was captured on live TV and had some reporters scratching their heads.
“I gotta say, why you’d do anything like that is hard to understand,” one news anchor said while reporting live on the chase, then followed it up with, “That’s… uh… crazy, really.”
The chase finally ended when the suspect stopped the vehicle and surrendered. No one was injured.
