The Household Cavalry Regiment of the British Army is in the middle of a jungle exercise in the South Pacific, and are apparently pretty good at the Mannequin Challenge when hiding in the bush.
Made up of The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals, the Household Cavalry is half way through their jungle training in Brunei, Exercise Ulu Rajah.
Best known for riding their horses around the Leicestershire countryside and operating from their Hyde Park Barracks in London in ceremonial duties to protect The Queen, the primary battlefield mission of the unit is termed as being “Close Target Reconnaissance,” roughly what the U.S. Army refers to as being a scout.
This is what they normally look like when on duty in London.
This is what they look like in Brunei– note the M16s with blank firing adapters and yellow “banana” mags.
