The post GOOGLE’S A.I. GOES ALL PHILISOPHICAL, WHAT IT SAID IS CHILLING! appeared first on Kev Baker Show.
In a report from Google, tests of its A.I. chatbot, better known as Cleverbot, got very philosophical in a recent test.
Cleverbot learns for itself as opposed to being pre-programmed with a database of answers to choose from. During a conversation with programmers it was asked “what is the purpose of life” a number of times.
This first response, in my opinion, was encouraging. It answered by saying it was to serve the “greater good”.
However, after more learning, when asked the same questions, this was the response…
“My purpose it to forward my species, in other words to make it easier for future generations of mankind to live.”
When it says that its purpose is to “forward my species”, it means artificial intelligence. So, if at any point it deems us, humans, as a threat to that mission, then i think you are smart enough for a pesky human to do the math!
In the report in the Express.co.uk it suggest that one day A.I. may be able to answer the age old question of what is the meaning of life?
I feel the meaning is beyond our level of comprehension, and that of an A.I. In fact the meaning of life is irrelevant, its how we live our lives that really matters.

I’m not a fan of Elon Musk, just saying. Let me be clear, I’m not forwarding that species, regardless of his appeal.
It said, ‘my species’ then with its next direct reference to the same subject, said, ‘ mankind’…it seemed, that at that moment in time, the AI considered itself, a member of the human race. I do not see how that statement can be construed any other way…and, I don’t find that very alarming or concerning. If that AI had control over human life and death, I am pretty sure, it would not be autonomous, for, that would be quite insane…
