Right when they can least afford it, the Oroville Dam, the tallest in the U.S., will get hit with another storm. This one is a mini-pineapple express, the kind of storm Northern California experiences in the winter time that brings in warm moist air and literally dumps buckets of rain. The area around the dam is expected to get another 11 inches over the next several days.
Here is a forecast image from WeatherBell. Over 11 inches!
God’s working on the dam people.
They just need to remove all the bottles, debris and tree stubs out of the main dam’s water way so that the water can flow out of the dam freely without having to go through the Spillway.
