TrackingPoint returns to the popular .300 Blackout round with the latest in its series of tactically styled rifles — the M400XHDR.

The rifle, built on TrackingPoint’s AR platform, the second generation, night-vision enabled M400XHDR tackles 400-yard lock range with the formidable .300 BK.

The M400 system shares some of the same technological perks present across TrackingPoint’s Precision-Guided firearms series. RapidLok Trigger System offers precise accuracy by acquiring, tracking and locking on ranged targets while video/audio capture capability allows shooters the ability to record their experience. Videos can also be broadcast via the integrated WiFi.

Five optical modes power the M400 system increasing precision shooting capabilities. Precision Target and Precision Mover calculate the ballistic and firing solution for shooters, which deliver accuracy on both stationary and moving targets. Auto-Acquire snaps the reticle to a pre-determined center of mass on a tagged target. The Suppressive Fire option calculates and holds real-time ballistic solutions.

The final mode, Night Mode, utilizes CMOS sensor technology to provide Gen-2 night vision performance when used with the rail-mounted IR illuminator that comes standard. The result is an extremely capable rifle that performs in either day or night conditions.

TrackingPoint opens up ammunition offerings with the ability to accept three ammo profiles — custom loaded TP 300 AAC Blackout 120gr OTM for target shooting, TP 300 AAC Blackout 120gr Tac-TX for hunting and 300 AAC Blackout 110gr.

Precision shooters interested in elevating the shooting experience can pick up TrackingPoint’s M400XHDR system for $6,995.
