While generally a conflict in which both sides duked it out with percussion muzzleloaders, the Civil War also saw some of the first widespread use of repeating rifles.

The two most commonly encountered types, those of Mr. Henry and Mr. Spencer, were bought both by individual soldiers with their own money and, especially in the case of the latter, by the federal government. With the above in mind, Hickok45 takes two modern reproductions of those famed repeaters and puts them side-by-side to see which was the better choice.
