Dishonorable behavior a direct result of the armed forces becoming a place for leftist social experimentation
The USA Today report is labeled, EXCLUSIVE and headlined, ”Gay porn scandal hits military.” Readers are informed that “images on websites show men in uniform engaging in sex acts.” These images “have made their way on to gay porn websites.”
Thank the liberals whose hard-core belief is that anything goes and restrictions of any kind denote bigotry. Few of them have served in the military and lack the understanding of preparedness and the problems associated with interjecting homosexuals into close living and sleeping quarters.
In 1950, President Harry Truman, a retired Amy Major who served in WWI, signed the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which set up discharge rules for homosexual service members.
President Ronald Reagan’s defense directive of 1982 stated “homosexuality is incompatible with military service,” also resulting in discharge. Reagan served in the U.S. Army Air Force attaining the rank of Captain.
By 1992, President Bill Clinton, who used subterfuge to dodge the draft, vowed to lift the ban. The following year, however, he introduced a compromise policy known as “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
Barack Obama who also never served in the military made full repeal of the law a centerpiece of his 2008 presidential campaign.
By 2010, within days of each other, the U.S. House and Senate voted to repeal “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” ending the ban altogether. Those presidents who wore the military uniform know all too well that social experimentation and feel good politics have no place either in bunks or on the battlefield.
In June 2015, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage is a constitutional right, meaning all fifty states must allow such ceremonies, invalidating all previous laws. In celebration, Barack Obama bathed the White House in lights of rainbow hues, symbolizing his unity with those now simply called LGBT.
Along the way, the language changed dramatically as incrementalism crept into the mix, aided in large part by media and Hollywood trendsetters. Same sex partners now represent “marriage equality.” Homosexuals have vanished — replaced by “gays” who celebrate their sexuality by holding Pride Parades. The rest of us are merely “straight” and as such, have no exclusive parades, forcing us to join cowboys and bagpipers at the rodeo and St. Patrick‘s Day events. In Phoenix much ado was made of the fact that liberal Mayor Greg Stanton and his then-wife Nicole led the Pride Parade, as the first straight marshals.
Voicing disapproval of the increasingly aggressive homosexual agenda carries the risk of having the trendy label “homophobe” etched indelibly across your forehead, though there is no fear (phobia) involved. Such shut down tactics have elevated deviant behavior to the new norm and brought us to the place where this previously unthinkable gay porn scandal could occur in the United States military.
