Jonathan, I read your headline and got all excited about liberals laying in the streets, never to spew their trash again. Then I found they didn’t literally explode. Depression set in, and tomorrow is Monday, a double whammy of Disappointment!
See, he needs to get paid by BIN, so he titles his articles on a way designed to get you to click.
So there’s a contribution to his BIN paycheck. But why stop there, when you can double it up!
So then they tell you nothing in the “article”, you have to click their YouTube video. That way they get their YouTube paycheck as well!
Alt media is a cashwhore just like MSM. In fact, short media is just as bad, if not worse than mainstream.
They claim to be better, but they spin just as much as MSM, just the other way. It’s moronic, you can’t trust anything or anyone in any form of media. They’re all just looking out for themselves.
Why would you write an article to explain what’s in a video on the same page? Aside from aiding the hearing impaired (which could add followers to your stories). It SHOULD be done as a matter of W3C standards (world wide web consortium), not law, just recognized standards. I would bet most people, even if they read an article, will still watch the video.
For everyone complaining about a guy making money on clicks. Why? For many of these people, it’s how they put bread on the table, it’s their job. Have any of you ever told an employer to keep a raise they were offering? How many companies will turn down new business because they already make enough? Have you ever seen a salesperson turn down a sale because they don’t need the money?
So, if you’re complaining about “click bait”, get off your horses, you’d do the same thing if it was your wallet benefiting from it. Stop whining, just don’t click a story bearing the name of those you complain about. Problem solved!
