Verdicts were announced for the final four defendants in the Malheur Refuge case in Portland, OR.
It was a mixed bag. Darryl Thorn got the worst deal, guilty on 2 charges; Conspiracy to impede federal workers and fFirearm in a federal facility. Jason Patrick was next with not guilty on the firearm charge, but Patrick was found guilty of Conspiracy to impede federal workers. Duane Ehmer was found not guilty on the conspiracy charge, but guilty of Depredation of government property. Jake Ryan was found not guilty on 2 charges: Conspiracy to impede federal workers and firearm in a federal facility. Jake was found guilty of Depredation of governement property.
For the record, witnesses for the defense were denied, the jury asked for a transcript to review and that was denied. The people on the ground can tell the story. Appeals WILL be made. Sentencing is tentatively set for May 10.

And of course, the trial in Nevada is still going on for the Bundys, Pete Santilli and the others. Defendant Gregg Burleson had a medical issue in court yesterday…story here…
