SOMETHING BIG HAPPENING IN ATLANTA! No way on Earth was this an “accident”!

Dare we ask: terror? What is the Red Mercury connection? This bridge is part of a MAJOR artery, it is an interstate bridge. How did it collapse and in flames at that?! Officials say it take MONTHS to repair, damage the size of a football field. HUGE impact on commuters. Plus …

There is, of course, a consipracy theory …

Red Mercury – The WMD No
One Wants To Talk About

9-29-4

On Friday, September 24, 2004, British police arrested 4 suspects for allegedly trying to purchase a ‘highly powerful, radioactive material, originally made in Russia, know as’ Red Mercury’.

These four supposedly were willing to pay $ 541,000 a kilogram, on behalf of a Saudi Arabian, (described as sympathetic to the Muslim cause’), whose name was not disclosed.

“The News of the World said that the material was developed by Soviet scientists during the Cold War for making briefcase nuclear bombs that could kill people within a few city blocks.”

Sam Cohen, the physicist who invented the neutron bomb, sheds a little more light on the destructive power of red mercury. As quoted from a June 15, 1997 http://www.manuelsweb.com/sam_cohen.htm

article by Christopher Ruddy of the Tribune-Review, it states:

‘Most frightening for Cohen is the relative ease by which neutron bombs can be created with a substance called red mercury. Red mercury is a compound containing mercury that has undergone irradiation. When exploded, it creates tremendous heat and pressure – the same type needed to trigger a fusion device such as a mini-neutron bomb.

Before, an obstacle to creating a nuclear bomb was the need for plutonium, which when exploded could create a fusion reaction in hydrogen atoms. But red mercury has changed that. The cheap substance has been produced in Russia, Cohen said, and shipped on the black market throughout the world.

Cohen said that when UN inspectors went to Iraq to examine the Iraqi’s nuclear weapons capabilities, the U.N. team found documents showing that they had purchased quantities of red mercury. The material means that a neutron bomb can be built “the size of a baseball” but able to kill everyone within several square blocks.”

Another article, “The Balance of Terror and the Red Mercury Nightmare” states that ‘Iraq possesses “s-megaton” micro-nuclear warheads. These are softball sized two-megaton fusion bombs triggered by an irradiated and compressed compound of mercury antimony oxide. This device doubles the nuclear yield with a hundredfold reduction in weight. Using heavy hydrogen instead of uranium or plutonium to fuel its explosive reaction, this handheld nuclear weapon cannot be detected by U.S. sensors.’

Red Mercury. The CIA says that it does not exist, yet terrorist organizations worldwide are willing to pay outrageous amounts of money to procure itScientists have alluded that nuclear weapons containing red mercury, can enter the United States, UNDETECTED, be placed in cities all across the country, and cause cataclysmic destructionfrom a nuclear bomb, of incredible power, the size of a softballI don’t know about you folks, but this REALLY scares me!

Now, what bothers me even more, is that last year, confidential intelligence sources informed me that a Special Ops unit in Iraq had lost track of about a ton of red mercury. I have not heard anything to the contrary, so I am assuming that it is still missing. How could that happen???

According to the research that I have done and talking to the contacts that I have in the Intelligence community, red mercury not only destroys human life, but kills every living thing in its path for eternity!!! In other words, where its destructive energy has touched, NOTHING will ever live again, not at least in our lifetime!

Let me go one further, my sources inform me that it would only take a teaspoon of red mercury to kill all living creatures in the Great Lakes.

So now that I have your attention.think about this..We have all seen or heard about the posts from the Arabic forums that indicate that an American city will disappear, are these threats really that far-fetched????  Think again!    http://www.homelandsecurityus.net/red_mercury.htm

Alanta’s notorious traffic is expected to be more tangled than usual after a massive fire caused a bridge on Interstate 85 to collapse, completely shutting down the heavily traveled highway.

Georgia’s top transportation official said there’s no way to tell when the highway, which carries 250,000 cars a day, can be safely reopened to traffic in either direction following the collapse, which happened Thursday afternoon during rush hour.

“We will have to continue to evaluate the situation and adjust as we do,” Department of Transportation Commissioner Russell McMurry said. “This incident — make no bones about it — will have a tremendous impact on travel.”

The interstate is a major artery for the U.S. South and a thoroughfare for traffic heading north and south through Atlanta. The bridge collapse effectively “puts a cork in the bottle,” Georgia State Patrol Commissioner Mark McDonough said.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal declared a state of emergency, saying the state is mobilizing resource to try to keep traffic disruption to a minimum while emergency work continues.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority, or MARTA, planned to increase rail services and have additional staff on hand to help passengers figure out how to get where they’re going.

It began with a fire that The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports burned for more than an hour under I-85 northbound near Piedmont Road, spewing clouds of black smoke skyward. The interstate has been closed indefinitely and the Department of Transportation warned all motorists to stay off I-85.

Traffic was bumper to bumper on nearby surface streets Thursday night as people scrambled to find alternate routes.

However, officials said no one was hurt despite dramatic images of towering flames and plumes of smoke.

“This is about as serious a transportation crisis as we can imagine,” Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed said.

Rose Diggs told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that she lives less than a mile from the fire site but couldn’t get home because of blocked surface streets. She said she was told to walk despite being disabled, “but it’s raining and dark.”

Capt. Mark Perry of the Georgia State Patrol told the newspaper the agency doesn’t know what started the fire beneath the bridge but terrorism is not suspected.

Gov. Deal told reporters that some PVC plastic materials in a vehicle may have caught fire.

“I do not know why they did or what the source of their transport was,” Deal said Thursday. “But those are questions that will hopefully be answered at least by tomorrow morning.”

  • Red mercury is in thermometers from the early 1900s

    • Red coloured thermometers contain Alcohol and the silver ones contain Mercury, not red mercury, just plain old mercury.

  • jdp…Seems like they did not get any waterm fire supressent on the fire but let it burn.

  • Only a fool would believe that a fire melts structural concrete and steel. Inside job. Looks like a diesel fire and a scam.

  • Ok, lets keep the crazy, outlandish stuff for fiction and TV.

Red Mercury has not yet been proven or even acknowledged anyone except this Dr. Cohen. Hard to corroborate. Therefore it falls into speculation. The undetectable claim for “red Mercury” is absurd. Any radioactive material emits particles and that is what the detectors sense. Show me corroborating evidence for Dr. Cohen and I may think there’s more to this.

Next stupid statement is how can a bunch of PVC pipes drop a steel structure topped with concrete. One may want to research the by-products of combusting PVC. One just happens to be significant quantities of hydrochloric acid, often in a gas state as well as over 50 other compounds. Weakening the junction points would make it quite feasible for a fire of stored materials to weaken the bolts

  • Fry

Maybe it was it by a plane

  • As usual the state is over reacting because they want people to live in fear and to give up more of their rights and privacy.

Contractors will make good mony fixing the bridge and tax payers wil end up paying five times the real cost

  • Well, I wasn’t going to mention that there are about 30,000 of “Barry’s Kids” from Syria and God knows where else that have been moved to Atl and live not too far from where this happened. Aloha Snackbar.

  • I’ve heard reports (unverified) that this was caused by a bomb. I’m sure we’ll never know..

  • anyone who thinks it was a couple homeless people with a campfire are dumber than a box of rocks.
