An unexpected email prompted me to make this passionate request, please don't buy a pet or companion animal for someone else. Let others decide with whom they want to live. And, if you choose to share your home with a nonhuman companion, please rescue one who needs a safe and loving home and don't support animal breeding mills that produce domestic or exotic individuals.
