Snickers, an Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center porcupine who earned the nickname “Stinkers,” definitely has a playful streak. He’s also sort of a rock star in Alaska.
AWCC staff depend on Snickers for more than careful snuggles; instead of trusting Punxsutawney Phil’s take on whether or not spring has sprung, Alaskans wait fervently to see whether Snickers can spot his own shadow .
