At an event in Taipei, Taiwan, rescued stray dogs wait to find their forever homes. A local animal protection group gathered with local celebrities to help raise awareness of adopting stray animals, instead of purchasing them.

FOAL FROLICS

In Switzerland at Zoo Basel, the rarest animal at the zoo has given birth. A Somali wild ass foal was born on December 27, 2012. The baby, “Jana”, is noted as being extraordinarily lively, according to her keepers. She is gorgeous!
