Pagan or Biblical Calendar? Why does it matter?
The Earth and the planets of our solar system revolve around the sun, but not long ago the human race believed that the sun, planets, and stars revolved around the earth. This was even spoken about as fact in churches.In fact to believe otherwise would get you kicked out on your backside and sometimes worse, death. There were three calendar systems in use in the Roman Empire. These three systems of seperating the day from the night, and winter from the other three seasons, are still in use today. Each calender defines one’s world view, the center of one’s universe, and one’s relationship to the Creator. The calender I have started using takes the Bible at it’s word. It is created around how the first Hebrews broke down their year by agriculture and the moon cycle as the Bible had originally prescribed it.
