Police in Washington DC have discovered a suspicious package one block from the White House and just metres away from the presidential inauguration parade route.
A massive security operation is underway following the incident in the US capital this evening.
US special forces are on high alert as Mr Trump takes over as 45th President of the United States on Friday, January 20, 2017.
It comes as the radical left announced it is planning riots in Washington DC to cause chaos on the run up to president elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
And they are hoping that their civil disruption will stop the event from going ahead amid a massive security clamp down over terror fears.
