Flying Birds of HBW World Bird Photo Contest…
A wonderful HBW World Bird Photo Contest had been organized on December 7th 2011 which continued till March 26th 2012. The winners of this contest have been announced recently. The main goal of this competition is to promote and spread knowledge about birds.
This competition also invigorates the creativity in the art of photography. The contest was basically focused on the conservation of birds and their inhabitants, and there must not be any so much digital editing.
This contest has achieved a large success by receiving more than 12,000 photos from over 128 countries submitted by 3,600 photographers, skilled or unskilled. The images that were presented contain more than 3,000 bird species from 154 countries. 3 winning photos, 10 honorable mentions and 4 special prizes were selected by the panel of judges.
