Not leaving yet, it’s just a reference! One. A friend of mine recommended this movie Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy to me and I had it on my hard disc for a week or so. For some reason the trailer didn’t resonate with me at the time it came out but I decided to give it a shot soon after my buddy’s recommendation. Two. Today Douglas from The Sync Book 42 Minutes got in touch with me (check them out!). Three. I picked this as the movie to watch tonight and laughed so hard when I realized during the clip I posted here, this is of course where the 42 thing comes from. (I had heard of it, I also knew the names Arthur Dent and Zaphod for some reason – I think forum or chat names somewhere long ago, and I had seen the movie’s robot before.) The universe conspired for me to see it today so it would be a synchy! I have to say it’s one of my new favorite movies, if not thé favorite movie now. Cosmic humor is the best! Right before leaving on my trip, I can know where my towel is and not panic! 

Damn I might not be satisfied with the book series I quickly downloaded on pdf and put on the handheld and might just have to raid a library 3 towns away that has the series in English! Though I have a truckload of books already. If you’re an odd duck like me and haven’t seen it yet, it has Martin Freeman yet who goes an even more Unexpected Journey than the Hobbit, Mos Def, Zooey Deschanel, Sam Rockwell, Bill Nighy and a depressed robot. It’s freaking perfect! (Checking imdb.com it’s only so-so popular with the readers – yay for having it the other way around! Can’t wait to read ‘em!)
