Education is jargon-filled and parents need to know a fair amount of it. In my PsychologyToday.com article today, I offer definitions of 35 common pieces of educationese.
To mitigate some of the boredom associated with learning jargon, I add critique. That is fueled in part by the just-released PISA results, education’s latest embarrassment in its unbroken string of bad performance compared with other countries even though the U.S. spends #1 per capita in the world on education.
