Possible Alien Message To Get Reply From Humanity
If there's something you'd like to say to aliens, now's your chance. The Wow! signal, a mysterious radio transmission detected in 1977 that may or may not have come from extraterrestrials, is finally getting a response from humanity. Anyone can contribute his or her two cents — or 140 characters, to be exact — to the cosmic reply via Twitter.
All tweets composed between 8 p.m. EDT Friday (June 29) and 3 a.m. EDT Saturday (June 30) tagged with the hashtag #ChasingUFOs will be rolled into a single message, according to the National Geographic Channel, which is timing the Twitter event to coincide with the premiere of the channel's new series, "Chasing UFOs."
Then on Aug. 15, exactly 35 years after the Wow! signal was detected, humanity's crowdsourced message will be beamed into space in the direction from which the perplexing signal originated.

Why would we stop the gods from helping us?
I think it is a hopi belief (not sure) that two brothers control the poles and the poles shift every so often, and are taken control of by the different ‘brother’. To me this represents the duality of our experience-the necessity of going through good periods and bad periods- It is necessary to suffer in order to spiritually evolve.
So, for thousands of years humanity has been left by the gods and the poles were shifted into a discordant position which caused a great age of worldwide suffering- which was OK because humanity had to experience it in order to evolve.
Now we are at the end of that cycle and the poles will shift again soon, and the ‘gods’ will come back. These beings are ONLY there to help- there is nothing to fear. The ‘evil’ or ‘negative energy’ aliens you are thinking of are called the Annunaki who were said to have come down to use humanity to get gold- and have already been in control of our world for thousands of years. We are told that civilization started with the Annunaki and the sumerians but that is false- there were many past ages-BUT the Sumerians usurped/destroyed all remnants of the true-ancient religious understandings (this is when the feminine/creative force began being brutalized and subjugated and the male/destructive force began being worshipped- allegedly because of male physical superiority, {rather than intellectual or spiritual dominance- physical dominance kept people un-evolved, un-thinking, un-feeling- and powerless- creating war/destruction/exploitation rather than cooperation and compassion.)
(In other words the ‘fallen angel’ was given control of the ‘underworld’- Earth, but only for a while)
The highly evolved beings that are being seen now as UFO’s (primarily the white, pulsating orbs of light) are not here to use us- as you suggested. That is really more fear-mongering that is unfounded, and only applies to the one group of beings who have already been exploiting humanity as slaves for thousands of years! BUT just as we all experience small cycles of good and bad periods (influenced by astrological/energetic alignments)- the world, and probably the universe goes through the same cycles. The Earth simply has been going through a cycle we experience as suffering, but our age of suffering may soon be coming to an end, and the true ‘gods’ are coming back to usher in the new age- which will balance out the last age- in the long run all is necessary.
Do you know how evolved you would have to be as a species to be able to use the suns energy directly and travel through space-time?! There is no chance they would have any use for us as slaves- they could easily build robotic slaves/machines that would be infinately more efficient!
End the fear and embrace the light- it is coming.
we need to dump all pre conceived notions from our past from the interpretations of those people who thought other advanced beings were Gods. I am sure if it did happen they encouraged it, but we need to get off the God pot and try to approach it all in a different way, 2000 year old beliefs and notions do not mesh with our world now.
Give up the old crap and open your mind and maybe we will all ave a chance to learn something.
If it is indeed true, that is. I hope so just to have the chance to meet and learn about the rest of the Universe. Our small amount of knowledge is moot and we need to stop pretending we know it all, and that we are the best creatures in the Universe. They are probably smarter, given the amount of time they have had compared to us.
I am not scared to meet an EBE/ET, nervous, jittery but I would crawl over glass just to really know the truth and learn something new.
@Anon. you are making much more sense..exactly i mean what would they want from us they can travel at speed of light/probably thought they can produce anything to help themselves without the need of human slaves and also that they have been here for eons. if they’d wanted to take over they’d have done so already.
bottom line truth: they dont need human slaves, just co-operation with us to help ourselves. if you have ever seen a UFO in the sky you feel different, the energies from these people are positive, uplifting and re-assuring.
