As people across the globe tremble in anticipation of next week’s supposed Mayan-predicted apocalypse, one Chinese villager says he may have just what humanity needs: tsunami-proof survival pods. Camouflage-clad former farmer and furniture maker Liu Qiyuan, 45, inspected his latest creation, a sphere several metres tall he calls “Noah’s Ark”, designed to withstand towering tsunamis and devastating earthquakes.B4INREMOTE-aHR0cDovLzIuYnAuYmxvZ3Nwb3QuY29tLy00S2x4VTZubDBEYy9VTXBITEF2NC1ISS9BQUFBQUFBQUxIMC9VNHBBT2phdW8xRS9zNjQwL2JpZythcG9jYWx5cHNlK2JhbGxzLkpQRw==

  • Doomsday? I have to work that day so I may miss it.

Get prepped for something real like DA14 or an emp attack.

So I have my micro-soalr set ups and back up parts in my faraday cage:

And my 360 hour flashlight mod:

And I am good to go sprouting beans and seed:

This stuff is better than a Ferret ball for humans.

    Are you ready for this?:

Apocalypse is Greek and means ‘to reveal’. It does not mean ‘end of world’. From the wiki: “An apocalypse (Ancient Greek: ἀποκάλυψις apocálypsis, from ἀπό and καλύπτω meaning ‘un-covering’), translated literally from Greek refers to a revelation of something hidden”

The Mayan calendar records the procession of star constellations. End of age means end of that particular star constellation rising with the sun on the dawn horizon. It is replaced with the next one, this time it’s Aquarius.

  • Does it have at least two exits so that one doesn’t get trapped inside if it winds up with the exit on the bottom? If it winds up buried under tons or rubble, how to the people inside dig their way out? If it washes out to sea how do the occupants get back to shore?

Shelters can protect, but they can also become death traps.

    • You got something better than ARRCan Solutions Ltd. ..buddy? You got something better than Liu Qiyuan?? Let me see it buddy… Enquiring minds want to know.

  • at least i got some bullets

Tested on flat water lake, door near water level. No doubt concrete in material, crudely built, having some idea of Chinese ‘quality’ and also seen damage caused by collision at sea with well made ferro concrete boat some 70 or so feet long, this ‘survival ball’ has no chance against natural or otherwise catastrophe so don’t waste hour money buying your own coffin.

    • Fair enough. I agree. Lux20 above that post has it exactly right. Kudos to Lux 20!! You hit the nail bang on the head. Here’s my tip: gaoline has a shelf-life of a little over 2 months, then it becomes lamp-oil…LOL. May ding-bats out there will be dead in 10 to 20 days when the SHTF.
