This rock was discovered in the prairie of Colorado. It appears to be a soft sandstone, though it has not been examined by an expert. What strikes me odd is how much it resembles a molded part. The lines, curves, planar surfaces, and angles have a non-natural and mathematical appearance. If this were made of plastic, I would have no idea what the part went to, but would not give it a second glance.
This rock has not been shaped in any way, and is presented exactly as it was found. I did scratch a little on one end and found that I can crumble it away with a fingernail. It has the texture of sand when crumbled away.
