(N.Morgan) In a new ground breaking surgery, surgeons in Sweden have successfully transplanted wombs, to 9 women, who either by disease or birth deficit, no longer had wombs. They were in their 30′s and desired to have children. The wombs were donated by relatives.
Surrogate mothers are no allowed in Sweden and most other European countries.
The experimental procedure has raised ethics concerns among its critics.
