Huge Tire Fire Seen From Space (Video)

(N.Morgan) There was a huge tire fire at a tire recycling plant in Sherburn-in-Elmet, the smoke plumes reached 6,000 feet, from the 15,000 tons of tires that were set aflame.
Nearby resident to the recycled tire plant were advised to keep their doors and windows shut and after the fire was reported to authorities. The fire initially required the attention of 14 crews, and it is thought fire fighters will be working on the blaze for ‘some days yet’.
