Eyewitness states: ”I was sitting at the courthouse today flipping through my Mars Images application when this one popped up! Totally awesome! There looks like cut blocks, statues, work equipment, and even machinery spread around this whole area. What do you think? Just plain old rocks ehh? As always I give you the photo directly from the NASA website.”

Looks just like a slab of rock, just like the OTHER slabs of rock around it, also called shale!

Could be shale or sandstone. They both can shear in straight lines given the right conditions. I’m more interested in the jelly dough nut rock that disappeared.

back in the 90′s nasa sent a satillite to photograph mars. it had a camera malfunction and photos were not taken. makes ya wonder. when u compile all the evidence its not hard to come to a conclusion. this rover is a distraction. lets see photos of the poles.
It’s cute that people think NASA just casually toss these images out to the public without scrupulously checking them first. If Curiosity picked up even a sniff of alien life (let alone tool use!), they’d either be calling a press conference or announcing a cover story about the rover shutting down.

There is also a “fossil” of a shark/whale like creature just on the right of the circle with part of the head inside the circle. “Mouth” slightly open and one “eye” can also been seen. LOL!

Looks a bit like the Millennium Falcon – maybe it crashed on Mars after the last Star Wars film?
That couldv’e been an old river bed tat carved that and yes mar was able to support life aong time ago but the think a meteor hit it which set volcanoes off also but there was never an advance species there
