So this time traveler traveled 700 years into the future? But when asked what is different about the living arrangements, or technology in the home, there is really no difference he can remember besides synthetic food on demand? There are stores, yet money doesn’t exist, it is credit, yet not monetary credit? So in this future you can create food synthetically but not standard household items, which would make stores necessary? I’m pretty sure making food synthetically to have nutritional value would be much more difficult that making household items from a 3D printer on command, so there would be no need for traditional stores.
