I’m a professor in California. I published a book a few years ago called Aliens and Man (NY: Algora). After I reviewed all the evidence from UFOs, Crop Circles, Pyramids, etc, I asked myself if I ever had a personal experience. Never saw a UFO. I went inside the King’s Chamber in Giza, walked the lines of Nasca, but couldn’t honestly say I had any direct experience.
Then I read Philip Corso’s book and he described a silvery piece of material found at Roswell. It was impossible to crease, puncture, cut, or burn. Others have also reported this strange metallic material. (see http://roswellproof.homestead.com/debris3_misc_metal.html)
The weird thing is that I actually held that material in my hand in 1965. I was teaching 5th grade. Knew nothing about UFOs. And a little girl brought me this 5 X 5 inch paper and asked me to cut it, puncture it, crease it. I was amazed by it, but I thought her dad worked at the Willow Run Air Force Research Labs, and that it probably was something to do with the space program. Since then I learned that a program at Willow Run (MARC) was affiliated with Wright-Patterson in Ohio.
Now it is 45 years later, and I realized I never saw that material again. I believe it is possible I may have held an alien artifact in my hands.
I’d like to interview people who have had personal connection with that material. I’m wondering if you might help me find them. One of them is Anthony Bragalia, a UFO researcher. But there are many other possible candidates.
Maybe my next book. On the other hand, I have equally strong feelings that this material could have been a precursor to Mylar or Kevlar, and that perhaps a more terrestrial explanation might be more logical. Trouble is, I have never ever seen this material again.
Anyway, I’d like to pursue this issue objectively and would like to be put in touch with people who are both pro and con on this matter.
Any help would be appreciated.
