Sometimes I really do think too much. I’m my own worst critic and will probably beat myself up about a mistake I’ve made before anyone else will. If you tend to over analyze things like I do, then you’ll agree that past thoughts are often running through your head. “I would have said this differently if….” “I should have paid better attention to….” “I could have tried harder and avoided….”. These are all some of the thoughts we play back in our mental stereos. What starts off as a simple rhythm of a thought in our minds quickly turns into organized chaos (or at least we think it’s organized). I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Are there things I wish I could go back and change? Oh yeah… But then again, how would that affect the quality of my life today. In some instances it may be better and in others it may be worse if I tried to change anything.
