Chrisette Michele is Audrey Hepburn
Chrisette Michele has one of the most beautiful voices in R & B. Period. She can hold her own against almost any singer of our time. I really believe she is underrated and truly hope that one day she gets the massive recognition she deserves. This is not to say that she’s a stranger to hits. “Best of Me”, “If I Had My Way”, “Blame It On Me” and the Rick Ross hit (which she’s featured on) “Aston Martin Music” have all received their fair share of heavy radio airplay. But will she ever stand up among the ranks of a Jill Scott or Erykah Badu? Only time will tell. But one thing is for sure: her work ethic is a force to be reckoned with. Having released 3 solid studio albums and 2 mixtapes in just 5 years, she is now prepping her upcoming 4th release (set to hit stores early 2013), simply titled Better. In fact, she is better and takes more risks than many of her peers.
