Daley Fires Smoking Guns Alone
For the past couple weeks, I kept hearing about a UK singer named Daley. I heard he had a song with Marsha Ambrosius and that I should check out his music. After several people telling me how good of a singer he is, I decided to finally take a listen. It didn’t take me long at all to realize that they were right. Daley has a soulful, light voice that at times confuses you on whether or not it’s a male or female singing. Check out the acoustic cover he does of “Pretty Wings” by Maxwell, an artist he sounds very similar to in my opinion. Those Who Wait, his first free mixtape has received over 30,000 downloads to date. Now his new EP, Alone Together (which features the title track with Marsha Ambrosius) that’s available for purchase on iTunes. The EP only includes 6 songs, but they are all a great listen. Here’s what I thought about a few of the songs below.
