Reverse Racism OK if you support Obama
Prologue: On 22 January, 2013, syndicaed Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson wrote eloquently of his joy in seeing a Black man, President Barack Obama, once again win the race for The White House and ascend to the Presidency of the United States. Robinson, who is Black, declared that seeing a Black president re-elected was a “wondrous feeling.” I countered with the obvious retort — that as a White voter, I could just as logically take comfort in the fact seeing of White man — Barack Obama — ascend once more to the office of the presidency, that is, if I were also only capable of seeing the world thru the myopic lens of partisan racism like Mr. Robinson.
The following is an open letter to Eugene Robinson, columnist for the Washington Post.
Mr. Robinson,
I read once again, with the same morbid fascination I have endured watching flies attracted to feces, your predictable analysis of St. Obama’s second coronation. Nevertheless, it continues to amaze me to watch the former and endure the latter.
I wonder if you were truly hired to find a way, tortured tho it may be, to see every single issue of national import thru your restricted blinders of racial analysis. Like a child looking at the world thru the wrong end of a telescope, you do see what it is you aim at, while missing a universe of other information which cannot impact upon your pre-disposed genetic filtration mechanism.
Let me put it another way. The issue of a Black man and a White woman is not a Black man. I could just as easily, and for the exact same reasons, feel exalted by the re-election of Obama as a re-confirmation of my own peculiar racial perspective, positing all his virtues to the “White” end of his ancestry, just as you rejoice in seeing his ascension once more to the Oval Office as confirmation that his elevation to that position has happened (your subtext is unmistakable here) because of the inherent virtues of his “blackness”, against the backdrop of a subtly racist society and power structure.
While I won’t begin to argue about racism in our society — since it was always there and will, to degrees, continue to always be there — I would argue that it was America’s peculiar “racism” — granting the benefit of the doubt to the perceived underdog — which insured both of Obama’s victories. Had the same person been promoted and perceived as “White”, as erroneous a perception as your own wherein you perceive Obama to be “Black”, he would have never been nominated let alone elected to The Presidency. Not to put too fine a point on this issue, Mr. Robinson, but Barry Soetoro would not even be able to pass the background check for White House janitor, and you know this to be the case as well as I.
As for the “wondrous” significance of his re-election, I would seriously weigh in the balance those subtle anomalies which the White racist main stream media — racist, in the sense that they are and always have been “in-the-tank” for Obama because he has sold himself as somehow being “Black”, even tho he is not — never saw fit to investigate. Little things like over a hundred precincts in Pennsylvania and Ohio where Obama garnered 100% of the vote, and Romney netted zero. Or those miraculous counties in Colorado and Florida where Obama somehow managed to persuade 141% of registered voters to turn out and vote in his election.
Of course, it never hurts to have the votes of our national election counted by a Spanish firm owned by George Soros, an aggressive supporter of Obama’s “progressive” agenda. What was it that Stalin said? “I don’t care who votes; I care who counts the votes.” Obviously, a similar principle is in play here.
Naturally, you rejoice in the mandate which The Black Messiah garnered. You should, instead, focus on the fact that Obama scored the lowest approval rating — 49% — of all re-elected presidents. Not exactly a landslide endorsement of his Marxist “vision” for America.
Moreover, I noted today that the economic growth of America actually contracted 3.2% from last quarter to the present, which means that we are once again, under the courageous bravado of Obama’s guidance, moving backwards economically. Now what event could possibly account for such a enormous drop in our economic activity in just 3 months for our nation? Oh, I remember now…. the great Black Hope was re-elected for at least another four years of his visionary destruction of our Republic and our Constitution.
Yes, it is part of American exceptionalism that anyone can be president, and the election and re-election of Barack Obama certainly proves that truism — in spades! But why would a person who was “legitimately” born in the U.S. spend over two million of his own dollars defending his “right” to keep from having to produce his long form birth certificate to the voting public, as Obama did in various courts around the country? Yet when he was finally forced to post it to the White House website to prevent Donald Trump from making his birth place a campaign issue, his long form birth certificate was found by forensic computer professionals and thousands of Adobe photoshop experts to be a ridiculously sloppy nine layer forgery. Ppredictably, Obama still managed to gain re-election for four more years thru the compliance and complicity of the “mainstream” media, which did their level best to ignore those experts and ignore the conclusions of their evidence.
As for Obama’s accomplishments in his first four years, you forgot to mention that while he promised to focus “like a laser beam” to stimulate the economy, his only real focus when he assumed office was to railroad a health care act thru Congress which the vast majority of Americans vociferously rejected; an act which, as we move forward, keeps revealing new devices to create additional economic sabotage and enlarge the potholes on the dubious road to a supposed economic “recovery” which is somehow always just over the horizon of his rising sun logo. I suppose, however, that this unraveling economic gotterdamerung might be considered a “landmark” in certain quarters for that very reason, as it certainly was an act of “progressive” genius to hijack one-sixth of the American economy and place it under direct government control.
Yes, Obama managed to “kill” Osamba bin Laden with a “gutsy” call as he and his cabal watched in real time, safe and secure in their underground White House bunker; or at least someone our Seal team thought was Osama bin Laden was murdered, and his body quickly disposed of at sea to prevent identification, while many of the world’s intelligence agencies, including our own, knew that the real Osama bin Laden died from kidney failure in December of 2001. Yes, The Big Zero rightfully declared water boarding to be torture, while escalating drone strikes over Pakistan and other nations, as experts ruefully concurred that up to 80% of the people killed by those strikes are collateral damage, also known as innocent victims, creating yet ever more volunteers to join in Islamic “jihad” against America. Yet we must rejoice, based on your blind faith in Obama’s non-existent humanitarian heart, that these same drones will soon be flying over American cities and thru American skies by the thousands. However, I’m sure you can rationalize this anomaly as easily as you rationalized Obama’s health care initiative…. it’s for our own good and the Constitution be damned.
Somehow, during your litany of Obama’s laurels, you left out that strange operation called “Fast and Furious”. Surely you remember that, don’t you? How our Glorious Leader denied having any knowledge of our Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms allowing thousands of “assault weapons” to be smuggled over the US/Mexico border, without Mexico’s knowledge, and without any means to track those weapons once they left the U.S., even tho that was the alleged purpose of this fiasco supposedly “cooked up” independently by the Phoenix ATF? Of course, someone as opposed to firearms as our Dear Leader could not possibly be involved in such a scheme to create pressure on Congress to pass more restrictive firearms laws; which must explain why President Obama invoked Executive Privilege to deny access to any scrap of evidence which might have embroiled him and his racist Attorney General Eric Holder in an impeachment battle, a battle which would have most assuredly been pursued on charges of high treason.
As to the “magic” of Obama’s economic smoke and mirrors, I would venture that a five year old running a lemonade stand has a greater appreciation of economic principles than Barack Obama — a man who has never run any sort of business, nor ever managed any sort of organization in his charmed, fairy-tale life. It is, I am sure, mere coincidence that the major Wall Street brokerage houses and banking firms like Goldman-Sachs and CitiGroup were major supporters of both of Obama’s campaigns. It must also be pure coincidence that the “Justice” Department was unable to find any evidence of conspiracy, collusion, bribery, theft, graft, fraud, corruption or anything that could be prosecuted to place any of the major Wall Street “players” behind bars as the U.S. Treasury — again — was used to cover the bad bets and criminal malfeasance of these well connected crooks who contributed to Obama’s campaign coffers, “socializing” their losses thru their unwilling assumption by U.S. Taxpayers by your executive fiat and direction.
Because of this, I would agree that you are correct when you state that it may take us decades to precisely deduce the scope and substance of Obama’s effects upon our economy, our vanishing freedoms, and our lives — assuming any of us survive the coming economic deluge.
But perhaps by that time Barack Obama will have ascended to his rightful place upon his throne as the Head of the United Nations, or even beyond that…. his heavenly father may simply call him home and his corporal body will be transfigured as it is elevated into heaven as the living and breathing incarnation of the divinity he most assuredly represents to you, and others like you, who refuse to see the glib, facile huckster who has the depth of a thimble, the heart of a pygmy, and the ethics of an oyster.
Unlike you, however, I had only one thought as I watched Barack Obama place his hand upon The Bible and immediately violate his Oath of Office when he swore to uphold The Constitution of The United States: May God spare and preserve the people of The United States of America from the continuing tragedy and travesty of the Barack Obama presidency.
