Natural Born Citizen” had a different standard from just “citizen,” for he or she was a child born in the country to two citizen parents (Vattel, Section 212. “Child born in the Republic of Parents (2) not Subject of any Foreign Sovereign”-Justice John Jay. The Venus, 12U.S. 253(1814), Shanks v. Dupont, 28 U.S. 242 (1830), Scott v. Sandford, 60 U.S. 393 (1856), Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. 162 (1875) , Ex parte Reynolds, 20 F. Cas. 582 (C.C.W.D. Ark 1879), United States v. Ward, 42 F. 320 (1890); Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898), Ludlam, Excutrix, & c., v. Ludlam, 26 N.Y. 356 (1863) and more) and the framers of the Civil Rights Act of 1866, the 14th Amendment, the Naturalization Act of 1795, 1798, 1802, 1885, and our modern 8 U.S.C. Sec. 1401.

You know when you think of yourself as a “Global Citizen” such as Barry Soetoro does, then he considers National Citizenship a non-issue. Gitmo would be peerfect for this foreign enemy combatant…
So? Nelson Mandela wouldn’t of been a natural born citizen but dam I sure as hell would want him running the US, the problem isn’t his ethnicity put racism aside, the problem is he’s a rubbis president
Total BS. It has first of all been conclusively demonstrated that BHO was born in Hawaii. Or does anyone believe someone would plant two fake birth announcements in different Honolulu newspapers on the remote chance that a half-black kid would be elected president in four decades?
Furthermore, if one of your parents is an American citizen, so are you, no matter where you are born. John McCain, for example, was born in Panama. Did any of you birther idiots make any problems over that?
Finally, the greatest irony. The entire birther BS was started by Hilary Clinton’s people when she was running for the Democratic nomination. I suspect Obama’s people are keeping it alive to distract Rethugnicans from real issues and to allow them to demonstrate how abysmally stupid they are.
