Bump It or Dump It? Jessie J: Who You Are

Before I get into my thoughts on this song, let me first say that it’s been out since 2011. So this one is a bit of a throwback by default. I’ve heard of Jessie J but never paid attention to any of her songs until I was forced to. I heard her song, “Who You Are” while I was waiting for P!nk to come on stage for The Truth About Love Tour (check out today’s earlier post, “P!nk Groupie Love”).  I had never heard the song before but her voice made me pay attention. I later found out exactly who she was and looked her up online. I remember seeing her album cover now, but I must say I’ve been sleeping on her voice. Check out the slightly depressing/disturbing video of “Who You Are” below from Jessie J. Am I the only one in the dark about her? I’m not sure if I would go out and buy her CD, but she sounds amazing on this song.
