Things have not been going well recently for First Lady Michelle Obama’s “healthy” school lunch program, and it is only getting worse for her.
Students hate the unappetizing lunches and school districts left and right are dropping out of the program, opting to forgo federal subsidies tied to the program instead of continuing to force students to eat lunches they don’t want.
It has been estimated that more than a million students have stopped buying school lunches already. Nationwide, schools have lost more than $1 billion in food waste and increased costs.

“We’re spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars every day throwing away perfectly good food,” said Haywood County Schools associate superintendent Bill Nolte.
They need to start serving that food at the WH. Give them a taste of their own medicine.
