Do you know what happens to your body when you get angry?
Whenever you get angry, you are damaging eight important organs in your body.
Skin: When anger hits you, toxins will increase in the blood of your brain, which stimulates your hair follicles. This causes varying degrees of inflammation, which can result in pigmentation problems or issues like a flareup of eczema.
In women, your uterus and mammary glands will be interfered with, and for men, your liver will suffer.
Thyroid: Frequent anger can result in thyroid dysfunction, such as hyperthyroidism.
Brain: When you are angry, a large amount of blood rushes to the brain, and cerebral vascular pressure increases. Resulting toxins in the blood accelerate the brain’s aging process.
Lungs: When women are emotionally agitated, they breathe rapidly, and their alveoli keep expanding, which is hazardous to the lungs.
Stomach: Anger stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, which directly affects the heart and blood vessels, reducing blood flow to the gastrointestinal system, slowing down peristalsis, which may cause stomach ulcers.
Heart: A large amount of blood rushes to the brain and face, and this reduces the blood supply to the heart, causing myocardial ischemia, irregular heartbeat, and resulting heart conditions.
Liver: When you are angry, the secretion of catecholamines will increase in the body, causing blood sugar levels to elevate, fatty acid to decompose, and an increase of toxins both in the blood and the liver.
No matter what you encounter emotionally, remember that your health is most important, so refrain from getting angry. Try to live each day joyfully!
