An asteroid the size of a house is set to pass close to the Earth, at a distance of 1.1 LD on May 29, though not so close as to pose a serious threat to our planet according to Nasa.
The asteroid 2015 KW120 measures around 86 feet (26m) across, a similar size to the one that caused widespread damage and injured around 1,000 people when it exploded over Chelyabinsk, Russia, in 2013.
