WATCH: Documents Just Revealed What Hillary Was Really Doing During Benghazi Brief
According to documents released by the United States State Department last week, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was not at the ready after the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, which left four Americans dead.
Last week, The New York Times obtained about 850 pages of emails from Clinton’s personal server. James Rosen of Fox News reported that the then-secretary of state was asleep during a presidential daily brief:
.@HillaryClinton slept through the mtg where she was to get the Presidential Daily Brief. “I just woke up” she wrote at 10:43 am on 9/15/12.

When Clinton was running for the Democratic presidential nomination against Barack Obama in 2008, she used a now infamous ad known colloquially as the “3 A.M. ad,” contending she was best able to handle moments of crisis.
It’s 3:00 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. But there’s a phone in the White House, and it’s ringing. Something’s happening in the world. Your vote will decide who answers that call.
Whether it’s someone who already knows the world’s leaders, knows the military; someone tested and ready to lead in a dangerous world. It’s 3:00 a.m. and your children are safe and asleep. Who do you want answering the phone?

In February, conservative watchdog organization Judicial Watch obtained documents under a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit which proved Clinton aides knew about the Benghazi attack during her time at Foggy Bottom.
The former first lady is currently seeking the Democratic nomination for president.
