BREAKING: Poll Reveals Most Republicans Think Obama Is Muslim. Do You Agree? Yes Or No?
In a recent poll by the liberal-influenced Public Policy Polling (PPP) group, 54 percent of Republicans were found to believe that Obama is a Muslim.
The poll asked Republicans to label President Obama’s religious beliefs. While 54 percent declared with confidence that he is a Muslim, 34 percent didn’t know and 14 percent said he was Christian.
If you recall, Obama’s faith has been a topic of discussion for years. It first started during his 2008 presidential campaign when he shared a friendship with self-proclaimed terrorist Jeremiah Wright. The man’s anti-American rhetoric made even more people assume Obama was a Muslim.
Although many people believe he practices Islam, Obama has made numerous references to his Christian faith, especially around Christmas and Easter time.
According to the same poll, only 29 percent of Republicans believe that Obama was born in the United States. As you might recall, Donald Trump ran with this issue in 2011 where he demanded the commander-in-chief display his birth certificate. But for Canadian born GOP candidate Ted Cruz, 40 percent of Republicans think he was born in America.
