(Before It's News)

Words like “coverup” are being bandied about across the Internet as the law enforcement narrative that only two shooters participated in last week’s San Bernardino remains contradicted by eyewitnesses. A fast closure to the shooting itself has further raised questions.

“Something smells rotten in San Bernardino,” wrote Breitbart commentator Pamela Geller, who noted that all initial reports from the scene talked of three shooters.

“We saw three men dressed in all black, military attire, with vests on. They were holding assault rifles. As soon as they opened up the doors to building three one of them started to shoot into the room,” witness Sara Abdelmageed said at the time. “I just saw three dressed exactly the same.”

When asked if she was certain she saw three men, she replied, “Yes. It looked like their skin color was white. They look like they were athletic build and they appeared to be tall.”

Another eyewitness, Juan Hernandez, reported seeing “three white men in military fatigues.”

Mark Stutte relayed the words of his daughter, who was at the scene that “three gunmen came in and they started shooting people.”

Then, suddenly, the number went from three to two after police killed Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik. No further attempt was made to find the third person.

Suspicions were heightened when the suspects’ home was opened to journalists.

“I was shocked…when the unthinkable happened after the murders: a mob of reporters were let into the jihad killers’ home in large numbers, contaminating evidence left and right and obstructing an investigation that was ongoing,” Geller wrote.

Into this mix of questions came a report from witness Chris Nwadike, who told reporters he received a phone call from an unknown person on the night of the shooting, telling him to say that Farook was the gunman. “No it’s not him [Farook]. I told them about it. He’s quiet. He doesn’t make any trouble. He was just spraying bullets everywhere. But the gunman was not Syed, or his wife,” Nwadike said.

Something stinks here,” wrote Arnold Ahlert at The American Spectator. “Given the track record of Islamic terror denialism embraced by the Obama administration – along with innumerable examples of media malfeasance protecting that approach – the unmistakable odor of a coverup, or an orchestrated disinformation campaign, hangs heavy in the air.”

Radio host Rush Limbaugh has also pondered the question.

Third shooter? Who, what, when, where, why? Is there one? Was there one? Two witnesses said they saw one. The media reported third shooter. But nobody’s had any interest in tracking a shooter down,” Limbaugh said Wednesday.

“So, what gives, America? Did that third suspect drop off the edge of the earth?” wrote Stu Tarlowe at WND.

“Did he or she disappear in the same way that our ability and willingness to recognize and identify a terrorist act when we see it seems to have disappeared? Or have we collectively forgotten how to count? Have we now become a nation of the arithmetically challenged, the journalistically challenged and the cognitively challenged?” he wrote.

Geller summed up the lingering questions.

“Where is the third man? Is he still at large? Are people at risk? And why was the apartment opened up and the fingerprint evidence destroyed? Why was evidence strewn about?” she wrote.

“Something is rotten in the state of California,” she concluded.

  • eyewitness, Juan Hernandez, must be the twin brother of SB Police chief, the HLN news showed him today dressed as the Police chief.
