Beyonce Just Announced A Big Concert… Then Her Halftime Performance Came Back To Haunt Her
On Wednesday, the New York Mets enthusiastically announced that Beyonce was scheduled for an upcoming performance at Citi Field, but many Mets fans aren’t happy about it.

After widespread outrage over what some are calling Beyonce’s anti-cop Super Bowl halftime show, in which Beyonce and crew donned Black Panther uniforms, angry Mets fans are demanding Citi Field cancel her event.

Some said her performance promoted hate groups.

Some went as far as to claim that Citi Field was part of the problem and should stand up to anti-police displays.

Western Journalism has extensively reported on Super Bowl 50’s controversial half-time show. Beyonce’s backup dancers were clad in Black Panther Party style clothing, even pictured with clinched fists raised after the show. The show contained lyrics from Beyonce’s song, Formation, which has a controversial accompanying music video depicting police as white aggressors standing against the black community. One message written on a wall of the music video reads, “Stop shooting us.”
During the Super Bowl halftime party, members of the National Sheriffs Association as well as other police officers turned their backs on Beyonce in protest. In addition, the New Jersey Troopers Union, among other groups, have also expressed their anger over the singer’s actions during the Super Bowl.
