Triple Solar Storms Headed to Earth, Space Weather Alerts issued by SWPC. The G1 (Minor) Geomagnetic Storm Watch has been extended to include 13 and 14 October 2016 due to the anticipated arrival of the 09 October (1st) CME followed by a (2nd) co-rotating interactive region ahead of the next (3rd) coronal hole high speed stream. Sky watchers at higher latitudes should be alert for visual aurora within the next 72 hours.
