The Conservative Tribune reports, As President-elect Donald Trump works to fill the various positions in his administration during the transition period, one of the individuals being considered as the next secretary of state is former Massachusetts governor and GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
This is not a popularity contest. So it Trump appoints Jiminee Cricket or Mitt to do a job, I assume it’s because the guy he appoints, is going to bring home the desired results. It’s not like Trump is adverse to firing someone if he finds them wanting. Lets face it, Trump did years of that on Apprentice. It’s not who he appoints we should spend much mental capital on, it’s how long the person will be able to keep that appointment once he gets the job that should fire up the brain cells. We just have to look at Governor Christy to see how precarious a Trump appointment can be if not up to snuff.
