Theology and Politics from a Conservative, Biblical Perspective

In today’s political climate, fascist leftists are out to destroy any sense of free speech that they particularly do not agree with and gay immigrant Milo appears to be the catalyst. Milo recently opined on the subject of pedophilia, stating essentially that it’s not pedophilia if two parties “consent.” Allegedly, he believes this to be the case if the young partner is 13 years of age. For the record, I could not disagree with Milo more. What he advocates is obscene as well as sacrilegious. While I realize that the age of consent in Milo’s home country of England is 16, that is far different from age 13. Even so, what bothers me just as much as Milo’s incorrigible views on man-on-boy sex is the way the fascist left is carrying on. All of a sudden it’s as though the fascist left has become the paragon of virtue.

This egalitarian, classical liberal is right, but where was the left to condemn Salon?

As just one example, the individual in the graphic points out that when Salon (a leftist media bureau), gave the okay to pedophilia, it was wrong just as Milo’s current views are wrong. While I agree with her, I don’t recall people on the left condemning Salon for their op-ed. Maybe it happened, but it was not generally stated by the left at all. In fact, I firmly believe that if Milo was not a conservative (politically), but a fascist leftist, his views would be welcomed at UC Berkeley and everywhere else the left holds dear.

In reality, this country has never been more divided, at least since the Civil War (and possibly the Civil Rights movement itself). President Trump did not create that division. His presence is simply clarifying it and making it more obvious since he is bringing back the rule of law to America. This is something that fascists on the left do not like at all. They enjoyed pushing America toward fascism and ultimately Marxism. That is their dream, their Utopia of which they desperately long. Of course, it simply proves they know nothing of true Marxism or the slavery and imposition of tyranny it promotes. In their blindness, they are unable to see the result of their efforts because all they can see is that Marxism brings a total repudiation to Western Civilization. Western Civilization is largely democratic with a foundation of Christianity and moral fiber inculcated into that system. It doesn’t even matter that not all people are Christians in such a society. The fact that the moral fiber of Christianity tends to permeate a society is something that knocks the left very hard and because of it, they wish above all things to throw off the chains of God and Christianity (Psalm 2), even if it means replacing it with a system that is so tyrannical that free thought is even outlawed.

In America, it’s anyone’s guess what the next four to eight years will look like under a Donald Trump presidency. So far, the signs for conservatives and Bible believers are good. Things are moving back toward the center and will probably push past the center toward the right side of the political aisle. There’s a lot that needs to be done to clean up the deep-seated corruption in DC and the federal government at large. Will it be cleaned up? It’s possible, but with so many on the left calling for the president’s “removal” from office (either through arrest or assassination), it’s certainly going to be an uphill battle.

But let’s say that Trump is able to go a long way in cleaning things up and restoring the Constitution to its rightful place throughout America. Will that mean that the Bible is wrong and things are not really going to get “that bad” as Scripture testifies throughout as the end of this age approaches? I’ve been thinking about that for quite some time now and I’ve come to some tentative conclusions.

Even if Donald Trump is able to go a long way in setting things right throughout America, it may not be sufficient enough. In fact, history shows that the ebb and flow of society is constant. We’ve had the Dark Ages, the Age of Enlightenment, as well as other “ages.” During these times, it seems that the bad and good exist together with one gaining more ground than the other for a time. The same is happening today, but there is an earnestness in society that appears to be cultivating more of a relationship with evil.

In many ways, it seems unprecedented but that may be due solely to the fact that we sit here in our modern-day and can only read about or study cultures that have come and gone at points in the past. We were not really there to experience it nor can we adequately compare the past with what is happening today. This is one of the reasons God’s Word should always be the authoritative source. We learn in His Word throughout that things will progressively worsen until global society reaches a point of no return. That particular period marks the final “week” (seven years), of Daniel 9:27 where we learn about the 70 weeks in total. This final seven years will prove to be the worst that this earth will ever experience according to the words of Jesus Himself in His Olivet Discourse (Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21).

It seems clear enough from Scripture (as well as the push in society), that there is something on the world’s horizon that, when it occurs, will immediately plunge this entire globe into catastrophic disarray. It will cause the world to pull together to become “one” in purpose and mindset. Once this event occurs, the globe will forever change and the downward spiral will occur immediately. In fact, I wrote a book about it in 2009 called Some of Satan’s Lies Seen as Truth. I cover this subject in that book in-depth that I introduce here.

Imagine if at a second’s notice, millions of people will be taken off the earth to another place? Imagine these millions of people being “vacuumed” up into waiting spaceships and then taken to other planets where they will be allowed to “evolve” at their own pace, but will no longer be on earth to keep it from “evolving” to the next spiritual plane.

I’m sure to many, this sounds far-fetched, doesn’t it? In reality, this particular teaching within the New Age mysticism and alienology has been around since at least the 1950’s. Here is what was written in the early 1990’s from what is known as Ashtar Command.

The Ashtar Command, Project World Evacuation, 1993: ‘Our rescue ships will be able to come in close enough in the twinkling of an eye to set the lifting beams in operation in a moment. And all over the globe where events warrant it, this will be the method of evacuation. Mankind will be lifted, levitated shall we say, by the beams from our smaller ships. These smaller craft will in turn taxi the persons to the larger ships overhead, higher in the atmosphere, where there is ample space and quarters and supplies for millions of people…’[1]

The message goes into more depth.

Although these Messages of the coming Earth Changes and Ascension of Planet Earth given by the Ashtar Command in the 1980’s through Tuella (Thelma Terrell) have since been long-delayed in their outcome, mainly through the strong efforts of the Forces of Darkness to eliminate or postpone the event, the instruction and program contained therein remains largely unchanged and applicable to the now fast approaching times of final cleansing…[2]

According to a book written by Chuck Missler, “the first messages from the Ashtar Command arrived in 1952 to author George Van Tassel. “We are concerned about [humanity’s] deliberate determination to EXTINGUISH HUMANITY AND TURN THIS PLANET INTO A CINDER…Our missions are peaceful, but this condition occurred before in this solar system and the planet Lucifer was torn to bits. We are determined that it shall not happen again.”[3]

Again, the New Agers, occultists, and those who seek knowledge of aliens tell us that this event is mutually benefiting for the earth and the people who are taken out of it.

The people who leave the planet during the time of Earth changes do not fit in here any longer, and they are stopping the harmony of Earth. When the time comes that perhaps 20 mil-lion people leave the planet at one time there will be a tremendous shift in consciousness for those who are remaining. [4]

Here’s the point. Even though there are Christians who either believe that the Rapture will occur before the coming Tribulation, some time during it, or at the end of it, there are many other Christians who don’t believe there is a coming Rapture at all, in spite of any evidence from Scripture that supports the notion. Outside of Scripture, one of the best arguments in favor of the Rapture as a physical, cataclysmic event for those who are left behind, is the fact that apparently, Satan himself has been teaching his followers to prepare for it. One might argue that Satan cannot be believed at all, but that isn’t the point. The teaching that circulates within the New Age movement is simply a type of Rapture, but of course it’s not called that. It is most often called a “great evacuation” of individuals from the earth who are keeping this earth from evolving to the next spiritual plane. Once these “malcontents” (their words) are gone, the spiritual formation and progress of the earth and its citizens will be able to continue unheeded and unchecked.

It makes even more sense when considering that currently, the Holy Spirit resides in each and every true believer in Christ. Together, all believers are being fitted together as Christ’s Bride, the Church (Ephesians 2:19-22). Once the Church is raptured off the face of the earth, a tremendous void will be created. Whether people believe it or not, the fact of the Church’s presence here on earth (in spite of how imperfect people are who make up that Church), has somewhat of a crippling effect on evil. The Church keeps total evil in check to a certain degree because of the power of the Holy Spirit working through Christians. Once the Church is gone, taken in the Rapture, the Holy Spirit will no longer be able to work through the Church here on earth. It doesn’t mean He’s gone. It simply means the main avenue through which He chose to work to convict the world of sin will no longer be here.

Imagine what the world will actually be like when the Church is gone. I shudder to think about it actually. Satan is offsetting some of the fear associated with this future event by preparing his followers to understand what is coming. Satan knows Scripture better than any human being. He understands it so well he can nuance it to the unsuspecting so that it either says something it doesn’t truly say or they will think it doesn’t say something when it does. Satan’s goal is to keep true Christians from the truth. If he can’t do that successfully, he will work to confuse. As far as the world is concerned and the billions of non-Christians in it, he works to keep them from the truth as well found in God’s Word. I firmly believe Satan understands that at some point in the future, the Rapture will occur. He doesn’t want his followers to be taken by surprise, so he began in earnest in the 1950’s and has continued through the decades since with different human beings as contact points. We’ve heard from George Van Tassel, then Thelma Terrell, Kay Wheeler, Barbara Marciniak, Maitreya (associated with Benjamin LeCreme), and numerous others. Of course, before these folks, there was Madame Blavatsky and Alice Bailey, both steeped in the Occult.

No matter how “good” things appear to be in society, we should always remember that God’s Word is true. There is a day coming that will bring devastating destruction to this planet. It will usher in the time of unprecedented evil throughout the world. The people of Noah’s day lived as we live today. They ate, drank, married, and had children. The same applies to the people of Lot’s day. In spite of the ebb and flow of greater or lesser evil throughout society at the time, people continued to do the same kind of normal things that society does today. In both cases – Noah and Lot – people were caught completely surprised by the judgment that fell. Even though they may have seen Noah building an ark, they had no real clue as to their own upcoming deaths. The same applied to the people of Lot’s day. Though warned, they ignored the warning and paid the ultimate price.

Today, in the world, Christians should certainly be beacons of light to this growing dark world. Above all things, we must warn those who are spiritually asleep that catastrophe is on the way, but they can be spared. So too, should Christians take comfort in the fact that regardless of how bad (or even “good”) society might appear to be, eventually the bottom will fall out and hell will tragically and literally break forth on the surface of the earth.

While it is fine that President Trump appears to be bringing the rule of law back to America, the most important decision he could ever make is the same one that faces every person in the world. That decision is who is Jesus? What did He accomplish for the sinner? While there is always relief at the righteous gains made in society, that itself can be very fickle. Society has no ability to remain steadfast because it is always in a state of flux.

People must be prepared to meet their Maker. It is the job of each Christian to live in such a way that God’s graciousness is extended to all people. We cannot allow ourselves to think that if society improves, people will come to know Jesus. Not true and in fact, it has nothing to do with it. In truth, the opposite is more often true. The worse society becomes, the greater the chances of turning to God.

While we are urging Trump and members of Congress to do what is right, let us not use that as a substitute to forget that we Christians have a tremendously important calling. That calling is found in the Great Commission of Matthew 28. Tell the world that they need the Savior, the only wise God, Jesus. Be glad for the good things that you might see happening in society, but do not allow that to allow you to ignore your responsibility to the many unsaved people in the world today.
