Justin Bieber Denies Paternity In Missing DNA Test Scandal
The Back Story
Last year, a massive wave of drama hit the celebrity gossip scene as teen heartthrob Justin Bieber was accused by Mariah Yeater, a Bieber fan, of being the father of her daughter Tristyn, now 15 months old. Bieber responded to these accusations as being false and supposedly rose to the demand of Yeater’s demand for DNA paternity testing. As incensed Bieber fans rallied around him in support, calling Mariah Yeater a gold digger who was desperate for the attention of Justin and the media, public opinion of Ms. Yeater lowered to the point that she dropped her case against Bieber. Not helping her case was the fact that her ex boyfriend was revealed as another potential candidate for the paternity of her child.
What’s Going On Now?
Claims have recently surfaced from the Yeater camp that although Justin Bieber claims to have gone through with the paternity test as he promised to, neither she nor her lawyer have ever seen the test results or had them analyzed. Now, both Mariah Yeater and her lawyer Jeffery Leving are demanding that Justin Bieber pony up and provide the results of an independent DNA test to prove once and for all that he either is or is not the father of young Tristyn. Ms. Yeater is desperate to have this test done in order to prove her claim that her side of the story is correct, have her son’s supposed father in his life and gain closure to what has been an ongoing media circus. The PR team of Justin Bieber has not yet responded to these allegations or the request for what could potentially be a second DNA test.
What Has Justin Been Up To Since This Scandal Broke?
The scandal that broke due to Ms. Yeater’s accusations of Justin’s paternity have done nothing to derail his multimillion dollar pop career or his legions of fans, who refer to themselves as Beliebers. Until very recently, Bieber was known to be in a relationship with famed teen pop queen Selena Gomez. However, due to recent photos having surfaced on Twitter and made by both halves of the pair, that relationship might be a thing of the past. Speculation continues to run hot and cold about Justin and Selena’s relationship, since they have been photographed in public together sharing an affectionate gesture since the supposed breakup.
Justin, in the meantime, has not been shy about addressing Mariah Yeater’s accusations about his potential fatherhood. He denies any possibility that he is the father of young Tristyn, going as far as to pen the song “Maria” for his latest smash album Believe. Bieber fans have embraces the obvious dig at Mariah Yeater’s accusations, and Justin has made no secret of the fact that the song directly reflects his feelings on the accusations and the media circus surrounding them. While Justin’s response to these latest accusations is yet to be seen, it is becoming clear that the media buzz surrounding Bieber and Yeater is far from over.
